ASSOCIATE PERFORMANCE AUDITOR
Are you interested in improving Kansas government? The Kansas Legislative Division of Post Audit is hiring for an associate performance auditor position to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of government agencies and programs. This is an entry-level position. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required; a master's degree or significant graduate-level coursework is preferred. Disciplines considered relevant to performance auditing include, but are not limited to, public administration, business, political science, economics, and law. Successful candidates must be critical thinkers, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and be comfortable working in a team setting. Candidates with strong quantitative and data analysis skills are preferred. Minimum salary for this challenging but rewarding job is $42,000.
